The Surprise of Easter

We are in the Easter Season, a season of new life, hope, and renewal. Yet the reality is many people are on the journey of grief trying to think of ways to honor their loved one who has passed on, or to forget the pain of what’s no longer ‘the same’. I was surprised by Easter the year after my mom died (back in 1981). It was then that the meaning of Easter became more real as I thought of my mom with Jesus. In 2010 the meaning hit home once again as I felt the absence of my wife since her promotion to heaven the year before. I am not sure those who have not experienced significant loss view the gift of Easter? The depths of it’s truths are beyond what most people can imagine.

On Easter we remember and celebrate that Jesus conquered the grave, therefore I thought I’d share this booklet that McKenzie and I put together on the subject of remembering your loved one during the holidays.

During this season of reflection and hope, I trust you will find encouragement as you read through practical ways to remember you loved ones.  Click here for brochure.

If you would like a hard copy mailed to you, please email me (juno@TimelessMinistries.com) your address and I’ll drop one in the mail to you.

May you experience the power of the resurrection and live in the reality of HOPE this Easter.

Peace.
