9 Years Without A Mom

Death causes you to really think about life. It hits you like a punch in the face and when you begin to stand back up on your feet you get those occasional flashbacks of the pain and agony you felt at the initial blow. Then it goes away and every year during special times like holidays and anniversaries it hits you all over again.

Mother’s Day without Bonnie

This photo was Bonnie's last Mother's Day on this side of eternity. No one thought this would be her last. So five years later we remember and we continue to move forward. It remains a little surreal at how much has changed in five years.  I guess my choice in clothing hasn't (which I'm reminded of often by my wonderful and caring daughter).

Last Time In Church

From what I can remember, her concert may have been her last time in church - September 13th, 2009  (so what's your excuse :)...Anyway, we knew we had a long road in front of us, but I was very confident that she would be healed.  We were planning for the future.  Plans we already in place for her family to visit us at Christmas.  Seven weeks later Bonnie was in heaven, Healed completely.
